Youth Testers

The Senior Youth Test is obviously dependant on having Youth Testers.

To maintain a consistent standard for the test Youth Testers meet regularly to discuss all aspects of the test. Training is also organised for both new and existing testers. These meetings and ongoing training events are organised at both Regional and National level.

Within the Southern Region the Youth Tester Panel is managed by the Regional Youth Liaison Officers (RYLOs).

The test is carried out by an individual tester. The decision to pass or fail a candidate is made at the conclusion of the test by the Regional Senior Youth Test Consultative Panel based on the recommendation from the tester who conducted the test.

The consultative panel is available to all testers throughout the conduct of each test.
