SOUTHERN REGION WILL BE HOSTING NFOL 2013

We are looking for volunteers - Can you help?

NFOL 2013 Management Committee is looking for volunteers to help put on this prestigious event.

We are looking for:

Department Heads

Team Leaders

Team Members

Helpers (even if only a couple of hours)

Some roles may require specialist skills, qualifications or experience. Others roles require no previous experience at all.

We are looking for people to form part of the organising committee from now up until the event.

We are also looking for people to help out for the working party and during the event.

Or you may not be available before the event but would like to help out at the event. Whatever your level of commitment we would like to hear from you.

If you have helped at previous NFOLs and already have a good idea of how you would like to volunteer then please let us know.

If you have not been involved in an NFOL before and are not sure how you want to help but would like to help out all the same then we would love to hear from you.

To give an idea here are some tasks that will be under taken by teams. (If you have a preference please let us know) The list is not exhaustive:

Sanitation Public Relations Security Communications Entertainment Traffic Stores & Supplies Water Electrical Trade Sponsorship Raffle Catering Working Party Stewarding Transport Youth Site Decorations Site Works Purchasing Pitching Bookings Admin

We are looking to recruit volunteers to the following teams:

Admin Team

Stewarding Team

Traffic / Security Team

Water Team

Sanitation

Electrical Team

CCY Team (must be CRB checked by the Club)

Environmental / Sanitation Team

Catering Team

Site Works Team

Entertainments Team

Trade Team

Decorations Team

Are you willing and able to give up some of your evenings and weekends over the next two years to work on the organization of the event, attend meetings and make site visits? Out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.

Do you have the time and holiday available to be able to spend a week at the 2012 NFOL (North East) shadowing their committee?

Can you spare the time to give up at least a week of your time preceding the NFOL 2013?

Finally do you have the enthusiasm, skills and experience to fill a volunteer post or join a team?

You must be a member of The Camping and Caravanning Club.

“There is no glory in being a member of the NFOL Organising Committee and there is no place for anyone who cannot make a firm commitment to the job. Some otherwise suitable people may have to take set Works Holidays which prevent them from being on site during the week leading up to the NFOL - everyone must be on site during that week. It must be stressed that the Working Party does not finish until the Sunday of the Meet or, if deemed necessary, the Monday following. A number of workers will usually be required for several days after the Meet” – NFOL Guidelines
